About us
Barakat began in 2019 with a simple idea: help the people around you instead of waiting for someone else to do it. Since then it has grown into a registered non-profit organization and a community of more than 1,800 people.
Here everyone finds something they can do: bring groceries to a family, donate blood, throw a party at a children's hospice or plant a tree. Our work is funded by donations, and we openly report where the money goes, because trust is built on transparency.
For the People. For the Change.
Life at Barakat
Ten directions, one mission
Each direction is run by its own coordinators and volunteers.
Help for families
Groceries, medicine and human support for the 195+ families we help on an ongoing basis.
Help for children
Visits to orphanages and the Taskin children's hospice: gifts, entertainers, sweets and attention.
Care for the elderly
Concerts, workshops, warm clothes and medicine for nursing homes. Above all, we bring attention and conversation.
Yorugʻ
Surgeries, examinations and treatment for those who cannot manage on their own, with special attention to blind and visually impaired people.
Blood donation
The Kaplya Dobra project: we organize donor drives and make giving blood a familiar part of city life.
Barakat Paws
Food and everything needed for private shelters caring for dogs under our protection.
Career guidance
The Prizvanie project: mentors introduce teenagers from orphanages to professions, and the best reach their first internships.
Barakat Sports
Open training sessions, master classes and merch: sport that works for charity.
Barakat Green
We plant trees, clean up streets and explain why caring for nature means caring for ourselves.
Accessible environment
Events for people with disabilities, so they can take part in life on equal terms.
